Greeks, as you know ruled the world of knowledge once upon a time: we still use Pythagoras Theorem and Euclidean Geometry. And Turkey is positioned such that it has always been at the crossroads. Turkey is the only country [other than Russia] in the world which is both in Europe and Asia
you can see the map of europe above and immediately notice that Turkey is positioned in Asia and nudging into Europe while Africa is very close by. Greece and Turkey share the same Mediterranean Sea. And the entire Northern border of Turkey is a coast line with BLACK SEA: stupendous, dont you think. How great would it be to visit the towns along that coast line.
